Originally developed as a list of thumbnails that display in a Lightbox when clicked, I expanded this plugin to also include an inline video player. The player and thumbnail list use the same set of easy-to-use settings for maximum flexibility and minimum effort.
Both the thumbnail list and the player implementation can display videos by:
- A hand-typed list of video ids (from any user)
- A user’s uploads
- A user playlist
The number of videos displayed in both the thumbnail list or the video player’s thumbnail grid are both configured with initialization settings.
The video player is now in use on two of 7Summit’s client’s sites, and I hope to add it to more soon.
